Our opinion of the Purcaraccia waterfalls

The water in the Purcaraccia stream is extremely pure. On the banks of the Purcaraccia river you’ll find crystal-clear water, a foretaste of paradise. The waterfalls are undoubtedly the jewel

in the crown of the Bavella peaks. Beware, however, that the Purcaraccia waterfalls hike is a high-altitude hike.

We strongly recommend that your hike be supervised by qualified professionals.

In order to enjoy the natural slides linking the river’s whitewater pools, the presence of professionals is essential for your safety. To make the most of the natural toboggans linking the river’s whitewater basins, the presence of professionals is essential for your safety.

The path leading to the river’s natural pools is not easy. You’ll need good shoes and a good level of fitness to access the canyon. What’s more, the Purcaraccia canyon

is very busy in summer..
Nous vous conseillons d’être au départ du sentier de randonnée tôt le matin afin de pouvoir profiter des rives de la Purcaraccia en toute tranquillité.
