Access to the Polischellu waterfalls

The natural pools of Pulischellu are less than 35 minutes’ drive from Porto Vecchio. From Porto Vecchio, take the T10 road to the village of Solenzara. Just after Solenzara, at the bridge, head for the Bavella pass.

Climb up to the Bocca di Larone pass. The parking area for the river is just after the Pulischellu bridge. The path leading to the Pulischellu natural pools is at the entrance to the parking lot.

Without a doubt the most entertaining natural pools on the island. With jumps several meters high and abseiling along the canyon rocks, thrills are guaranteed. Swimming in the clear turquoise waters of the natural pools of the Pulischellu River is your reward.

In the lower part of the canyon, the river has created a series of natural pools linked by waterfalls. The turquoise water, the waterfalls and the Bavella peaks make this a must-see for your stay in Corsica.

The natural pools of the Sapare canyon are located 55 kilometers from the beaches of Porto Vecchio. On leaving Porto Vecchio, take the T10 towards Solenzara. Then, take the departmental road to Bavella Pass.

From Porto-Vecchio, head for Solenzara via the T10 road. After Solenzara, head for the Bavella pass, where you’ll find a parking lot on the left-hand side of the road.

The Vacca is the largest river in the Bavella mountain range. Most of the mountain’s water is collected in the river, which later becomes the Solenzara River. The narrowness of the canyon and the quantity of water in it give the Vacca natural pools their unique color.
