Quenza.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Coscione plateau is a unique site in Corsica. Located at an altitude of 1,500 meters, it is a verdant mountain plateau. The plateau is criss-crossed by numerous streams that form waterholes on its surface. These waterholes have given the Coscione plateau its nickname, &#8220;La pelouse aux 1000 trous&#8221; (&#8220;The 1000-hole lawn&#8221;).<\/p>\n<p>   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The presence of numerous waterholes makes the Coscione plateau a paradise for the island&#8217;s flora and fauna. On leaving Solenzara, take the Bavella pass road towards the village of Quenza. From Quenza, the Coscione plateau is signposted. Be careful, however, as the roads on the Bavella mountain range are winding and sometimes very narrow.<\/p>\n<p>   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the end of the road, you&#8217;ll arrive at the Bucchinera refuge parking lot. The hiking trail to the Coscione plateau is accessible to the whole family.
